Georgia Southern football is ranked 12th on the SEC’s most recent Football Power Index (FPI) rankings, just behind Vanderbilt and Florida.
Georgia Southern Football is a team that has been playing at an elite level of football since 2011.
The Falcons have won four conference championships and one BCS National Championship in their last six seasons.
A year ago, Georgia Southern beat Auburn by 14 points in the season opener, a game that saw them take the game away from Auburn by beating a team ranked in the top 10 nationally.
This season, Georgia State lost its last three games against ranked opponents.
This season, the Falcons have played a schedule that includes four ranked opponents, two of which are opponents that have lost in their final four games of the season.
Georgia State is ranked 26th in the country and ranks 23rd in the FPI’s top 25.
Georgia Southern has played eight of its last 10 games against FBS teams, which is a season record.
The last time the Falcons faced an FBS team ranked outside of the top 30 was in 2010, when Georgia State faced Florida, South Carolina, and Ole Miss.
With their schedule this year, the Georgia State football team is poised to put together an incredible season and finish atop the SEC.
Last season, Georgia State lost seven games, including its only win in the last two games of 2013.
That was a season that saw the team lose quarterback Brandon Wimbush to a torn ACL and suffered the loss of four key offensive linemen to injury.
It was also a season in which the Georgia Southern program went 7-6 in the regular season.
Now, after two seasons in the SEC, Georgia Tech has an opportunity to return to its previous glory.
Coach Justin Fuente will be a coach for the ages as he leads the Hokies to a 10-3 record and an ACC Coastal Division title.
Virginia Tech has had a very good season in the ACC and is currently one of the best teams in the league.
Head coach Tony Bennett will look to build on a dominant 2015 campaign in which he led the Hokie offense to an undefeated record, and ranked in T20 league’s top five.
Bennett will be looking to build upon a very strong season that featured two bowl victories, a national championship, and a top 10 ranking.
Injuries to key players on the offensive line and linebacker corps will be one of many reasons why Virginia Tech will be struggling in 2016.
While Bennett has a team capable of winning games this year with a defense that ranks in the middle of the pack in the conference, the Hokys offense will be without two key offensive players, and the team will be lacking in depth.
Trevor Davis and Tyrell Lewis were both injured during the season and will likely be out for the rest of the year, with quarterback Treon Harris and running back Jonathan Williams likely missing the entire season.
The Hokies offensive line will be key for Virginia Tech this year.
Despite being one of only three programs in the nation that are undefeated, Virginia Tech has the third-highest average margin of victory of any team in the Big Ten.
“The team has had an incredible turnaround in two years.
Coach Bennett has done a great job rebuilding his program and has a lot of young guys that have really come in,” said head coach Tony Bevell.
“They have a great offensive line that has an outstanding playmaker in Trevor Davis, they have an experienced secondary that has one of our top corners in Darius James, and they have a very talented running back in De’Andre Johnson.
I think that’s what they have going for them this year.”
Bevell said that he has seen the improvement that his team has made since last year, but said that it has still been an uphill battle.
I think our players are starting to understand that it is a lot tougher than it was last year and I think they’re starting to come together as a group.
We’ve been able to put that on the backs of Coach Bennett and his staff and we’re getting better every day.
I’m really excited for the next few months, but I think the challenge is not only for the players but for the coaches.
We’re not just going to sit here and say, ‘We’re going to beat every team in this conference.’
We’re going be the best team in every conference.”
After an off-year for the Hokieds, Virginia Commonwealth is poised for another great season.
Virginia Tech’s record this season is the highest of any ACC team with seven straight winning seasons.
The team is ranked sixth in the BCS, and its 13 wins against top 10 opponents is the third most of any conference team.
Not only is Virginia Commonwealth poised to have a big season, it will also be the only team in its division that is ranked in FBS.
After finishing the season
